Why BS EN 14972-17 Exists
The BS EN 14972 Series is a family of European standards covering fixed water mist fire suppression systems. BSI published Part 17 in July 2025, and it sets out the fire testing protocol for automatic nozzle water mist systems in domestic and residential buildings up to 5.5 metres in ceiling height.

Helping the FPA Achieve UKAS Accreditation
