In recent news, there have been over half a million recalls for Whirlpool white good appliances over fire fears, with over 45 different appliances affected, and still around 68% of all appliances have not been located.

Secondly, if you’re buying a second-hand appliance, check the wiring and whether there are any existing product recalls on the product you’re buying, to keep yourself safe from potential hazards. Get the appliance tested to ensure it is in working order.

Lastly, when using your washing machine and tumble dryer, be sure you’re clearing out after every use.
