Northstowe Cambridge

This huge housing development in Northstowe, Cambridge was built on an old RAF base, meaning it is quite secluded, with no fire stations in its immediate vicinity.

The report from the Fire Brigade stated that the housing development was too far away for them to arrive in an appropriate time to protect the development, thus requiring automatic fire suppression throughout.

The development comprises 220 houses, where we installed our domestic pumps, along with 8 blocks of flats, which required 6 Residential Pumps, and 2 SKID Pumps.
