St Michaels Terrace

St Michaels Wynd is a new, social housing development located in Kilwinning. This development consists of over 40 x 2, 3 & 4 bedroom new homes, amenity bungalows, wheelchair liveable properties, sheltered housing and supported accommodation.

With the limitations of evacuating those with mobility issues, the stay-put procedure can result in delays which could have serious implications for those affected. The addition of our fire suppression system within these properties could greatly assist rescue operations in these circumstances; adding valuable time for people to escape while waiting for the fire brigade to arrive, and to extinguish the fire completely.

This project started in 2021, when the client first addressed us following on from an iMist™ CPD. This St Michaels Wynd project consists of a mix of residential and domestic pump units to ensure everybody within this development, is safe from the potential fire. iMist™ were employed to install in some of their properties on St Michaels Terrace.
